February 28 - Last day to file report with State Assessed Bureau without penalty (7-38-8, Page 38-9).

 

March 31 - Last day to file report with State Assessed Bureau with authorized extension.

 

May 1 - Last day for State Assessed Bureau to mail out notice of value. (7-38-20, Page 38-34).

 

June 1 - State Assessed Bureau to certify values to each County Assessor with break down of protested & unprotested valuation. (7-38-30, Page 38-54).

 

June 15 - County Assessors to certify values to State Assessed Bureau (Preliminary Estimates (7-38-31, Page 38-54).

 

June 30 - State Assessed Bureau to certify estimates of value to Dept. of Finance & Administration (7-38-32, Page 38-55).

 

August 1 - Certify final values to Dept. of Finance & Administration. (7-38-32, Page 38-55).

 

September 1 - Dept. of Finance & Administration sets tax rates. (7-38-33, Page 38-56).

 

October 1 - Assessors submit copy of property tax schedule (abstract & warrant) to State Assessed Bureau & to County Treasurer. (7-38-35, Page 38-57).

 

November 1 - Tax bills mailed out by County Treasurer.

 

November 10 - First half of property taxes due.(7-38-38, Page 38-61).

 

December 10 - Last day to pay first half taxes without interest. (7-38-49, Page 38-74).

 

December 31 - State Assessed Bureau compiles final valuation statistics and submits to Dept. of Finance & Administration.

 

January 10, Year 2 - Last day to file claim for refund in district court.

 

April 10, Year 2 - Second half taxes due.

 

May 10, Year 2 - Last day to pay second half taxes without interest. (7-38-49, Page 38-74).
